Kamil Muni Temple :
The temple dedicated to Saint Kapil Muni is the principal attraction of Sagardwip. After a holy dip in the water, pilgrims go to the temple to offer prayers to the Saint. The temple, along with four other temples got destroyed in a storm in 1960s. The Kapil Muni Temple was the only one that got restored. It is believed that after attainting salvation, Kapil Muni came back and passed on the divine knowledge to his mother.
The Sagar Beach :
The Sagar Beach is located at the tip of the Sagardwip, or Gangasagar, as some people call it. The beach is flooded with thousands of tourists every year as they make their way to Sagardwip for a holy dip in the Ganges. The beach otherwise is a calm, soothing place to enjoy a sunset.

Temple at Chandaneswar :
Situated at a distance of 6-8 km from Digha, Chandaneswar Shiv temple has mythology and folklore depicting its creation and history. The temple plays host to a huge annual fair on the first day of Oriya calendar and sees an influx of a large number of tourists every year.
Dakhil Darwaza :
A very important monument, located in Gaur, Dakhil Darwaza is a surviving ruin of an old castle from the 15th century. The gate itself is a gateway to a fort. In the south-east corner of the fort, high wall encloses the ruins of an old palace. The gate is also popularly known as Salaami Darwaza as cannons used to be fired from it.

Firoz Minar :
The Minar is located a kilometer away from the Dakhil Darwaza. Built during Sultan Saifuddin Feroze Shah’s rule, this five-storey tower is often touted as Malda’s Qutab Minar.
The first three storeys of the tower have twelve adjacent faces each, and the uppermost two storeys are circular in shape. The tourists can take the flight right up till the top of the tower. It is built in the Tughlaqi style of architecture and is also known as the Pir-Asha-Minar or the Chiragdani.
Adina Dear Park :
About 20 km off Malda is the Adina Deer Park. The park is an excellent place to witness numerous deer in their natural habitat. Cheetals or Spotted Deer and Nilgai are the two most famous species here. The park is governed by the forest department and also serves as a home for numerous migratory birds.
Hili is mainly known for its beautiful landscapes. It is situated near the India-Bangladesh border at a distance of 25 km from Balurghat.
Bollakali Temple :
The Bollakali Temple is located in the Bolla village that lies on the Balurghat-Malda Highway, which is 20 km from Balurghat. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and Kali Puja is conducted in this shrineevery Fridayafter ‘Rash Purnima.’ A fair also takes place on this occasion, for three days. During this time, the temple is visited by thousands of devotees from different parts of the district.
College Museum :
Balurghat College Museum is a small public museum located within the premises of Balurghat College, the district headquarters of South Dinajpur District. The museum has a few stone inscription that belongsto the early medieval period and the 11th century inscription of Nayapala from Gangarampur.
The museum also includes antique collections like ornamental stones, terracotta artefacts, coins and sculptures of the Pala-Sena period. Two of the inscriptions that have been deciphered, reveals the religious beliefs of the Pala period.
The small forest of Sarongbari is popular as a picnic spot. It is almost 20 km from Balurghat. Though there is no provision for accommodation, the forest provides drinking water supply and small huts to the tourists.
